In 2022 we enjoyed a return to a full year of gigs with some of the best new music from around the globe that included the likes of KennyHoopla, NewDad, Baby Queen, CMAT, Jamie Webster + so much more! We are now proud to present our Ones To Watch 2023 list - a selection of some of the hottest new artists that will grace our stage in the new year ahead


FROM - Fakirk
PLAYING TUT'S - Thursday 2nd February 2023
FOR FANS OF - The Saw Doctors + The Pogues + Peat & Diesel

Blending classic Celtic folk with a contemporary Scottish trad twist, Brogeal have already made quite the name for themselves in Tut's in 2022 following on from a sold out headline show at Summer Nights along with supports with Danko + The Wakes. The folk folks from Falkirk are back in February for their Celtic Connections debut

milk. are a four-piece alternative pop band based in Dublin. They make music with pop sensibilities alongside subdued electronic production. 2022 was a big year for the band having recently come off a sold-out headline run across the UK + Ireland. A groundbreaking voice in the Dublin music scene, Somebody's Child has fast become one of the hottest prospects in Ireland. It wasn’t long before seminal NYC indie label Frenchkiss Records (The Drums, Local Natives) came knocking, signing the band and putting them into the studio with Mikko Gordon (The Smile, ISLAND) in London - the resulting album, Somebody's Child, will be released on Friday 3rd February 2023

Bilk's music is a fusion of rock, rap and punk with a distinctive British flavour, lyrically drawing inspiration from the sights, sounds and challenges faced from the world around them. Having signed with Manchester based indie label Scruff Of The Neck Records after a string of critically acclaimed self-releases, their debut album Bilk will be released on Friday 10th February 2023

Bellshill-raised and now residing in Liverpool, Rianne Downey has returned to her dancefloor indie roots with her new songs finding their final, intricately-crafted shape in the form of her second EP slated for release in early 2023. Next single 'Hard' comes out on Thursday 19th January 2023

Wunderhorse is the alias of British musician Jacob Slater. Jacob fronted The Dead Pretties, a London band who arrived in a haze of hedonism and hype, bowing out before the dust had time to settle. Blink and you’d have missed them. Time-stamped yet timeless. If there’s any justice, he’ll soon be played out live in sticky basement rooms up and down the country, limbs everywhere, sweat dripping from the walls. An absolute mess, but what a beautiful one

The singer-songwriter, now living in London, ended 2022 with high-profile support slots with Dylan John Thomas and Luke La Volpe. 2023 promises to be another year full of highlights, not least the homecoming show at Tut's in April

Minneapolis singer-songwriter Ber is no stranger to the UK having crafted her sound as a student at Leeds Conservatoire. Ber previously performed at The Hut Sessions as part of King Tut's Summer Nights last year and is set to return to Glasgow in May for The Road To The Great Escape

Sorcha Richardson is a singer/songwriter from Dublin, Ireland. She started her first band with two friends from school when she was ten years old and has been making music ever since. She writes songs about the days and nights she spends with friends, the places they go, the people they meet, the things they say and the things that they don't. Sorcha plays The Road To The Great Escape on Saturday 6th May 2023
