JACOB ALON

Jacob Alon is a Scottish singer-songwriter whose sound cuts through the air with his powerful and haunting vocals, intricate guitar playing, and pensive, poetic lyrics. With huge performances lined up for 2024, such as The Great Escape Festival, he’s definitely one to be watching this year.
QUIET HOUSES

Quiet Houses are part of an exciting new generation of songwriters in Scotland, fusing indie-folk textures with lush pop production. The duo have performed a number of headline shows in Manchester & Edinburgh, were featured on BBC Introducing Celtic Connections and have played a number of festival and support shows across the country. Quiet Houses will perform as part of King Tut’s New Year’s Revolution festival on Thursday 25th January, with support from Niamh Morris, Joe Goodall, & Cortnë, get your tickets here.

Nieve Ella has quickly become one of the most exciting artists in the UK, making her start via TikTok covers of some of her biggest alt-pop/indie influences. Having now gained a digital audience of 100k+ and over 3M streams, Nieve Ella comes to King Tut’s next month, performing a SOLD OUT show on Saturday 10th February.

Darren Kiely’s folk-infused pop sound originates from his inherited love of traditional Irish music, intertwined with modern influences such as The Lumineers and Dermot Kennedy. The singer-songwriter has accumulated 3 million total global streams independently and will play a SOLD OUT headlining show at King Tut’s on Saturday 25th May 2024.
KINGFISHR

FOR FANS OF - Mumford & Sons, Dermot Kennedy, George Ezra
3-piece, Kingfishr, have quickly established themselves as one of the rising prospects in Irish music. Emerging over the last 12 months as part of the newest generation of Irish contemporaries, all five of their releases have garnered significant Irish radio play as well as spots on New Music Friday UK. Their SOLD OUT show at King Tut’s on Thursday 15th February, alongside many others in the UK and Ireland, has cemented them as ones to watch out for.
ENGLISH TEACHER

English Teacher are an Indie/Post-Punk band from Leeds, who formed in 2020 after meeting at Leeds Conservatoire. Last year, the band embarked on their Autumn UK Tour which saw them play two Scottish dates, including a SOLD OUT night at Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s. With an exciting 2024 on the horizon, you’ll want to be following their journey.

Transforming pain into truth, passion into purpose and perseverance into strength, the Dublin four-piece have steadily grown in stature over the last three years, sharing two acclaimed EPs and building a fearsome live reputation opening for the likes of Yard Act and Suede. Sprints will bring their abrasive punk-rock and synthesising sounds to King Tut’s on Sunday 7th April 2024, performing a SOLD OUT show with support from Venus Grrrls.

Wasia Project’s music blends jazz and playful pop with their classical background to create one of the UK’s most distinctive new acts. The sibling duo, featuring Heartstopper’s Will Gao, play a SOLD OUT show at King Tut’s on Thursday 22nd February 2024.
