Vault City Presents Cameron Barnes Hogmanay Show

KING TUT’S & VAULT CITY BREWING HAVE PARTNERED ONCE AGAIN WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF A HOGMANAY SHOW

King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut is today proud to announce its latest event in partnership with Vault City Brewing. Piper turned singer/songwriter Cameron Barnes will bring in the bells at Tut’s this year with a very special Hogmanay show on Friday 31st December 2021

Born in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland, Cameron has had success with multiple singles reaching Top 20 UK chart positions and Number 1s on the Singer/Songwriter iTunes Chart and more recently Country iTunes Chart. The Hogmanay show sees Cameron return to the Glasgow venue for the first time since selling it out in December 2019 which led to various support slots with Brit Award winner Tom Walker at the beginning of 2020. Cameron was back on the live stage in October 2021 selling out The Tunnels in Aberdeen and The Mash House in Edinburgh

Talking about the show Cameron has added: “Being such a huge fan of Hogmanay, and ending every year in style, sitting in my Glasgow flat alone last year (family and friends stuck in Fife) because of Covid was just the worst! This year live music is back and I’m going BIG! I’ve never been so ready and excited! Come have a drink with me and end this year in style at the home of the Scottish music scene! King Tut’s let’s end this year with a BIG TARTAN BANG!“

After a successful year due to the rise in sales of their now legendary modern sour beers, Vault City Brewing have teamed up with King Tut’s once again in presenting an event aimed at showcasing some of the hottest new musical talent in Scotland and beyond. The partners launched their inaugural show together with New Noise on Saturday 30th October 2021 featuring performances from The Van T’s, L’Objectif and SHE amongst many other great new acts.

Richard Wardrop, head of marketing at Vault City has said: “Live music has been sorely missed and ‘New Noise’ was an incredible way to help welcome it back. There was a brilliant atmosphere in King Tut’s with a perfect soundtrack from some of the best emerging artists from all over Scotland and further afield. We were honoured to help play our part. Tut’s is an iconic venue, one we’re proud to support, and we can’t wait to bring in the bells with Cameron Barnes at the Hogmanay show this year! We’re brewing something extra special to mark the occasion”

Tickets are on sale Friday at 10am from www.kingtuts.co.uk/whats-on
