King Tut's Presents: Apologies + Laments. + Landslide + Ready Weather

Apologies are a 4-piece group, based in Glasgow. The band’s sound is reminiscent of shoegaze acts of the past thanks to their delicate vocals, whilst their brooding bass lines and intense guitar parts layer and build to a crescendo, creating a fierce post-rock inspired wall of noise.

Forming at the latter end of 2023 in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded by Vocalist Kayden Allan and Guitarist/Bassist Ross Menzies, laments. is an angular alt rock band, trying to find their own sound and style while playing across multiple different genres adding their own personal flair. laments' lineup contained Kayden Allan, Lead Vocals and Guitar. Ross Menzies on Guitar with Chris Snedden taking on Bass and Backing Vocals, David Cunningham on Drums and Jamie Candy on Guitar. laments recently released an EP called “Drowning in a Colourful Mess” on March 1st which gained some traction. And are working on releasing more music before the end of the year.

Landslide are a Shoegaze / Alt Rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. Formed in 2023, the 4-piece came together through a shared love of the sounds of the 90s and early 2000s, taking influence from the dreamy soundscapes of bands such as Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine, and combining them with the distorted riff heavy sound of grunge bands like The Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana. Along with the release of their first single “Foghead”, Landslide recently played their debut show in May. The new single touches on the feelings of rising above a hopeless situation, featuring a mix of influences from all members of the band, each bringing a unique touch to form their sound.
