WILL I NEED TO WEAR A MASK?
Masks are no longer required by law but please feel free to wear one
WILL THERE BE HAND SANITIZER?
Absolutely. We have hand sanitising stations on entrance and throughout the venue
WILL I NEED TO SHOW PROOF OF A NEGATIVE TEST BEFORE COMING TO A GIG?
You won’t be required to show this however we do ask that you take a test before travelling to the venue. If you feel unwell, please refrain from coming to the venue and book a test immediately
WILL I NEED TO GIVE MY CONTACT DETAILS WHEN I ARRIVE FOR TRACK AND TRACE?
Contact details are no longer required upon arrival
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T COME TO A GIG BECAUSE I'M ISOLATING OR HAVE COVID 19?
Firstly, if you are unwell, we really hope you make a speedy recovery and feel better soon. Please contact your ticket provider
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I FEEL UNWELL DURING A GIG?
You should inform a member of staff straight away. They will help you out of the venue to a quiet space and will help you to get home. We strongly advise that you contact nhs24 and follow their instructions
I BOUGHT A GIG TICKET BEFORE LOCKDOWN. CAN I STILL USE MY TICKET FOR THE RESCHEDULED SHOW?
Yes, you can. Tickets are still valid for the rescheduled show, so you don’t have to buy a new one
AM I REQUIRED TO SHOW A VACCINE PASSPORT?
Vaccine passports are no longer required

HOW DO I BUY A TICKET?
Simply go to the "What’s On" section of our website, search for the show you are looking for and click “Tickets & Information”. This will direct you to our ticketing partner Ticketweb's website where you can purchase your ticket(s)
You can also pop into Tut’s when we are open and buy a ticket from behind the bar
ARE THERE AGE RESTRICTIONS?
All gigs are 18+, unless it states beside the gig information that the show is for “over 14’s”
WHERE CAN I PARK?
We have two multi-storey car parks within walking distance. Q Park, 99 Waterloo Street (closes at 11pm) and Charing Cross car park (open 24 hours.) On-street parking around the venue is free after 6pm but this is fairly limited
WHERE CAN I GET FOOD & DRINK?
We have plenty of drink on offer at King Tut's and our food is provided by BAKED pizza al taglio serving up Roman style, sheet pan pizza
DO I HAVE TO BE ATTENDING A GIG TO VISIT KING TUT’S?
King Tut's is a public bar and everybody is welcome regardless of whether you are attending a gig or not. Children are also welcome accompanied with an adult while the kitchen is still serving food

King Tut's aim to promote equality of opportunity for people with disabilities and is committed to improving deaf and disabled people’s access to live music.
We are thrilled to be working with Gig Buddies, who pair up people with and without learning disabilities (and/or autism) to be friends and to go to events together. The idea behind Gig Buddies is to enable people with learning disabilities and/or autism to enjoy all the great things going on in their community, especially live music.

Venue Description
The venue is accessed from St Vincent Street and the main bar, which is below street level.
- There are 3 steps down from the pavement into the entrance. We can provide a portable ramp if required, please call the bar in advance so we can arrange this 0141 221 5279
- The main entrance has 2 doors that open inwards, the width of the main entrance doors is 90cm when opened together
- Venue doors are located past the main bar and toilets, when both doors are fully open, the width is 137cm, staff are on hand to assist.
- There are 24 stairs up to the venue with handrails on both sides. Please note that you cannot hold both handrails at the same time, the width between the handrails is 150cm at the bottom staircase and 103cm at the middle staircase
We apologise that the venue is not wheelchair accessible as it is located on the top floor, there is no accessible lift available within the venue.
There is a bar in the venue. Please note, our toilets are located at the bottom on the stairs. There are no toilets in the venue upstairs.
There is a short distance to our accessible seated area from the stairs, with another 4 steps up
Seating space for this is very limited so please contact the venue in advance to arrange. Please contact management via the contact form or 0141 221 5279 to arrange this. We have additional bench seating around the venue. However, on busy shows, you will not be able to see the stage from these.

Bus
There are many bus stops nearby for a wide variety of routes, consult timetables for more info.
The closest bus stop to King Tut’s is on Douglas Street which is approximately 100m walk.
Train
Our closest train stations are Charing Cross and Glasgow Central
Charing Cross is approx. 500m walk
Glasgow Central is approx. 650m walk
There are steep hills both uphill and downhill on these routes.
Parking
There is on-street car parking outside of the building which is free after 6 pm and before 8 am.
Prior to 6 pm, it is £1 for 15 minutes for a 2-hour max stay – If you are using the Ring Go app the code is 20167

PA/COMPANION TICKETS
We offer free tickets for Personal Assistants/Companions. Please contact management via the contact form or 0141 221 5279 to arrange this once you have bought your ticket.
MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
Nicola is our Mental Health First Aider at the venue. When not on site, the duty manager and security staff will be available to assist. Please note that on busy shows, the venue can become crowded, if you are feeling overwhelmed or simply need a break from the crowd please inform a member of staff who can direct you to a quieter area of King Tuts. If you have any questions before coming to King Tut’s please do not hesitate to get in touch via our contact form.
MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS
We welcome attendees who need to bring medicines, food or drink to manage a medical condition or medical equipment. Please contact the management contact form or 0141 221 5279 if you wish to discuss this in advance of your arrival. Speak to any staff in case of an emergency.
ACCESS TO PERFORMANCE
We do not currently have any hearing loops installed within the premises.
ASSISTANCE DOGS
Assistance dogs are welcome into the main bar area. However, for the welfare and safety of the dog, we ask that they are not taken into the venue. Please notify us if an assistance dog will be accompanying you. We do not take responsibility for any assistance dogs and ask that the dog remains with the owner.
STROBE LIGHTING AND STAGE EFFECTS
We occasionally use Strobe Lighting in our shows. Signs will be clearly posted throughout the venue. If you have any concerns about this, please contact Bar Management via the contact form.
ACCESSIBLE TOILETS
Unfortunately, we do not have an accessible WC within the venue and bar. Male and female are toilets are located on the ground floor.
ACCESSIBLE SEATED AREA
We have a viewing platform with seats available on request. There is very limited space so available on a first-come basis. Please contact the venue in advance to arrange this.
